It has been three long years since the benevolent reign of the Chile King (when I won the Central Market Hatch Chile pepper recipe contest). I was de-throned in a coup, and banished to a pepper-free island to lament the loss of my chile subjects.
Well, I'm back, bitches!
Central Market just called and told me that I am a finalist this year for my "Hatch-uan Beef" recipe. The contest is next Saturday, with coronation ceremonies lasting well into late September. Long live the Chile King!!!!
