To read? Too red.

I made up a new word yesterday.  Alexis and I were talking about the differences between homophones and homonyms.  We couldn't quite agree on the precise meanings.  (Yes, I "know / no" the internets could solve it, but "bear / bare" with me).  I told her the "whole / hole" discussion was making me nervous, and that "I / eye" was becoming homophobic (hah-moh-foh-bik - fear of homophones and homonyms). 

Jill asked how exactly I would spell that.  Hmmm.  Spelled just like another fear of something.  My new word is a homonym!  Or maybe a homophone.
