Working with the Youngsters

My staff at YouthLaunch are young and creative. They decided that we should have our own holiday tradition - giving, receiving and wearing of the ugly Christmas sweater. Max drew my name and made me a lovely sweater. The unfortunate thing for Max was that 1) he was out of town for the exchange. And 2) he made the mistake of putting the bag with the sweater ON MY DESK before he left. I was therefore able to switch them out and put a perfectly nice sweater with sparse decorations in the bag (see above).

The saving grace for Max was that he showed the sweater to another staff member before he left town, so while most of the others were calling him a slacker, Katie knew the truth. Eventually, my ruse was up, and I donned the lovely sweater he created (see below). It's available for loan for all your holiday needs.
