Oscar, My Sworn Snow Enemy

It snowed today here in Austin. Happens once every five years or so. The girls and I were very excited to get outside and build a snowman. We've been iced in the house for a few days. We scraped and collected and rolled the snow. We utilized the sand castle building tools in our garage, found some sticks, a carrot and some pipe cleaners. The snowman was perfect.

We went inside for some hot chocolate to warm ourselves. Four minutes later, our snowman was gone.

Apparently, Blossom has snowman issues. Maybe it comes from her time before she was a Smith. She killed it. Destroyed it. No-one even saw it. We hadn't even had time to name it (we named him Oscar posthumously).

Why was Blossom outside in the snow you ask? Notice the ball. When we went out to make our snowman, she ran outside to get the ball. Come to think of it, maybe she was trying to get Oscar to throw it.

I've had your blog bookmarked since you let us know about it, but being the bad friend, I hadn't looked at it until now. It makes me smile to see that I can get my "Russell Letter" a lot more often than once a year now. I promise to be a better commenter next time.

cheers,
