I have heard about the Lap-Band procedure. It has something to do with supergluing your colon, or something like that. I know that ads for medicines generally have to list possible side effects. I looked all over this ad and did not see the listing of potential side effects of this procedure. Especially for the side effect that happened to this poor woman. I can understand getting migraines, sleeplessness, heart problems, etc. But turning into a transvestite? Totally needs to be in bold on the consent form. On the plus side, she may have gained a new career on the stage (It's Raining Men!) and she does look FAB!-U-LOUS.
