To Believe or Not to Believe, That is the Santa

Alexis is skeptical about Santa.  Mainly because she doesn't think reindeer can fly.  She just doesn't see the physics working out with that.  We asked Abby and she was noncommittal.  She had that look like, "I'm pretty sure there is no Santa, but what I'm not sure of is how not believing would affect the overall volume of my presents."  So she shrugs.

For Hanukkah, the girls got a Magic 8 Ball.  Which most people don't realize is actually a very Jewish appropriate gift. 

Moses had one.

"How do we get out of this desert?"
"Answer hazy, try again in five years."

Juddah Maccabee had one.

"How long will this oil last?"
"It is decidedly eight days."

And now the twins have one.  They decided to test their favorite Santa theories out on the Magic 8 Ball.

Alexis: "Are there many local / regional Santas?" (her pet theory).
Magic 8 Ball: "No."

Abby: "Can reindeer fly?"
Magic 8 Ball: "Better not tell you now."

Alexis: "Is the President Santa?" (a theory we had not previously been privvy to).
Magic 8 Ball: "Without a doubt."

Which explains why it's taking so long to get healthcare reform.
