Two weeks in and we are all in love with the kitties. They are just so damn cute! Everything is better with kittens. Except perhaps sleeping. The kittens (especially the girl Elsie Elise Oreo Foster Kitty Smith) seems to be set for about 5:30 am. That's when one (usually me and/or Jill) gets awakened (awoke? awokened?) by a small ball of fur nestling, purring, and/or "tenderizing" us with her little kitty claws. It doesn't matter if you turn away or pull away, she will trot back over and nibble your nose and then plop down purring on your face. Hard to go back to sleep. Jill was awakenated the other morning with Elsie holding her face between her paws and Leo (the boy kitty) licking her face. Nice that they are working together. The boy kitty is a purring machine, but Alexis has been locking him in her bedroom overnight lately for some forced bonding, leaving us with the girl. Before his nightly sequester began, Leo was just as bad as the girl kitty. One morning (around 5 am) I awoke to him licking my adam's apple. Imagine someone running a tiny piece of wet sandpaper on your neck in the middle of the night - that's just about it.
How do you re-set the kitten for a different time? I'm wondering if she is set to Eastern time, as 6:30 would be an appropriate cat alarm time. She does have a little black dot on her stomach. I'm thinking that has something to do with her settings, but I can't find the instructions.
