I'm "0" for "32"

Austin just had its runoff elections this week.  I can now officially say that I got a perfect score.  Every single thing or person I voted for lost.  Being a blue guy in a red state, I am used to a low success rate.  But generally I get a Tax Assessor Collector or two.

This time, nothing.

Governor? No.
Lieutenant Governor? Nope.
Major Governor?  Brigadier General Governor?  Defeated.
Senator?  I can't even remember the name of the guy I voted for.  He got 162 votes.
Mayor?  My candidate lost.
City Council?  Austin went to single member districts.  Mine was leading after the first election and lost in the runoff.
Light rail for Austin? defeated.
Railroad Commissioner?  I wrote in "Thomas the Tank Engine", but he lost.
Comptroller of Public Accounts? Lost.
Comptroller of Private Accounts? Defeated.
State Senator?  State Representative?  Flushed

I know I voted for someone named "Sam Houston" for something.  He lost.  Whatever he was running for.  I voted against Ted Cruz, but I don't think he was on the ballot.  I just plan to do that at some point in every election.

I once again wrote in "Sid Smith" for Congress in sharpie on the electronic voting machine.  Encouragingly, he got 27 votes, and it's now been a few years since he passed away.  He still would be better than our current rep.

I suck at voting.
