The family was chatting yesterday about family businesses and how sometimes they are handed down to the next generation.
Actually, I have to interject here. I honestly can't remember if that was the topic, but stay with me. Abby had such a great one-liner that I had to include it here, even if I had to make up the back story (which I probably just did).
Abby one'liner: "What would be our family business, double negatives?"
Apparently, the Smith women believe that I utilize more that a single negative in my speech. I can't not agree with that. Oftentimes, it is not possible to get a point across without not utilizing a "not" or three. I don't know who does not see this as unnecessary to not being misunderstood.
I'm not exactly sure how we will make money off of the double negative business. But how could we not???
