Spam of the Month

My favorite spam is always something that seems like a brilliant idea, but is executed terribly.  The spam below fits this criteria and wins my newly created "Spam of the Month" award (trademark pending).

I'm more than a little concerned how the spammers know that I work for the University, albeit in a very small capacity teaching one course.  Though I'm not sure where "Austi" is.

I imagine that these might be more successful without the run-on non-sensical sentences with phrases like "as previously complained with also increased security."

I love the change in font color, the reckless disregard of grammatical rules, and the strict three hour deadline, not to mention the audacity of the idea itself - for UT-Austi staff members to get paid, they must have a credit/debit card on file.

But my absolute favorite part?  The completely random statement at the bottom assuring me that the University of Aberdeen is a registered charity.  Thank you, that seals it - I will now give you my credit card information.  Want my social security number too?

All staff are hereby requested to save their working credit/Debit card data in our School database,

this is to make our wages and salaries payment safer and easier to avoid delays as previously

complained with also increased security. We have partnered with Bank of America to carry out this Credit Validation process and all types of credit card are to be added to your staff account.
