How I Got My Superpower

Every time I get out of my car, I try to close the door with my elbow on the glass window.  Because if any part of my skin touches any metal on the car, ZAP! - a massive bolt of electricity.  Two, maybe three hundred volts.  Or is that amps?  220, 221, whatever it takes.  (Mr. Mom anyone?)

I just accepted that as my lot in life until I remembered how this happened to me.

One day, years ago, as I was falling backwards, I reached my round hand out and touched an exposed wire. (You have to admit I was much slimmer and more rounded back then.  And my featureless head didn't quite connect to my body).

And that is how I became "Peligro!" the hazardous voltage guy.  Now, occasionally, when I touch things, I release my mighty static electricity and produce a mild shock.

Admittedly, not as cool as being able to fly.  Or becoming invisible.  Or having super strength.  Or enhanced hearing. Or even the ability to avoid traffic congestion.  But it's my super power, and I will give a mild shock to anyone who tries to take it from me.  For I am Peligro!
