Sleep Away Camp

We dropped Alexis and Abby off at sleep away camp this afternoon. I have one kid in Europe and two at Girl Scout sleep-away camp. No getting past the fact that they, and I, keep getting older.

I remember going away to sleep-away camp as if it were 29 years ago! It was Camp Flaming Arrow in Hunt, Texas. For gay outdoorsy kids. I was in one of the straight cabins. But I did enjoy many of the camp activities - putting on a show, being fabulous, hot tubs.
