I seem to be learning and understanding the inter-web one small step at a time.
Did anyone else know of this Craig and his magical list? We got a lovely hand-me-down washing machine that was nine years newer than our old one. So we put pictures of the old one on Craig's magical list. Thirty-six hours later someone had our 12-year old washing machine and we had $100.
Intrigued, I put a picture of a large plastic outdoor toy (that the girls have outgrown) on the List. Forty-eight hours later, someone named Jennifer had it and we had $65 cash.
Why didn't anyone tell me of this magical place? Now I have two hundred postings on the List (FYI - 200 is apparently the maximum they will allow you). They range from a lamp we no longer use to books to Jill's Toyota Sienna. I plan to sell only a few at a time, so no-one really notices things are missing.
So look for my postings with Craig, especially should you be in need of: a couch, crystal wine glasses, socks, 41 cent stamps, a pizza stone, AAA batteries, almost half a gallon of Limeaid, a cranky old cat named George (feel free to rename him), various staples and paperclips, two full bags of yard trimmings, 3 bars of pure gold, and ice.
